BA in Economics from University of São Paulo, with specialization in Decision Making from Stanford University (CA/USA). Over 40 years of experience in financial markets, 35 of which in Asset Management Alexandre was Anbima’s Vice President and chairman of its Asset Management Commission (CART), main institution representing the funds industry in Brazil. He was also the first chairman of “Funds Overseeing Commission” and member of the “Funds Self-Regulation Counsel” at ANBID/ANBIMA, also representing Brazil at the International Investment Funds Association - IIFA. Throughout his career, acted as Executive Director at Banco Crefisul, Citibank and Banco Francês e Brasileiro. Former Senior Managing Director at Banco Itaú Unibanco, he was responsible for, among other activities, its Structured Products area. Under his watch, Itaú issued more than 75 FIDCs (Fundos de Investimentos em Direitos Creditórios) and Private Equity Funds.
Partner and Founder of SRB Banco de Negócios, Resende holds a Business Management Degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He was one of the founding partners and President of LatinFinance Research and Advisory. Before establishing LatinFinance in December 2001, served as Director Vice President at Banco Santander Brasil S.A. and Banco Bozano, Simonsen S.A., where he was responsible for coordinating the investment banking activities, including the areas of capital markets, M&A, privatization, project finance, securities brokerage and equity research. Between 1975 and 1995, he served as Executive Director at Unibanco where he developed several activities in the areas of corporate banking, retail and mainly investment banking. He was also employed at Itaú Corretora de Valores S.A., Research Division. Between 1998 and 2002, he was Director at the National Association of Investment Banks – ANBID (ANBIMA) and one of the founding members of the Capital Markets Self-regulation Council.
Partner and Founder of SRB, Barbosa holds an Economics Degree from the University of Political and Economics Sciences of Rio de Janeiro. He first joined the Financial Market at the Chase Manhattan’s Brazilian office in 1976 – where he was invited to extend his area of expertise into the Credit Securities’ business. In 1981, he joined the Bozano Simonsen Investment Banking team and worked there until its acquisition by Santander in the year 2000. During this period he was responsible for the Commercial Bank and Investment Bank activities in Rio de Janeiro and was the Regional Director of all the bank’s activities in the South of Brazil. From 1993 to 2000, Barbosa was the Executive Director responsible for the Corporate Banking department in São Paulo and participated as a permanent member on the Credit and Investment Bank Committee. In 2001, Márcio founded MB1 Consultoria Econômica.
With a BA in Economics from University of São Paulo, Filipe has also a MSc in International Economics (with Merit) from University of Essex – UK. Worked for several years as macroeconomist at Tendências Consultoria Integrada, leading economics consulting firm in Brazil, before being a founding partner of Cultinvest. Recently certified as portfolio manager from Anbima (CGA), and also a CVM certified portfolio manager.
More than 25 years in Financial Markets, including a leading role as Superintendent for Custody Operations and Controlling at Banco Itaú Unibanco. Under his belt were areas such as Liquidation, Corporate Action, Assets and Liabilities Controlling, Forms and Documentation, Balance Sheets, Accounting and Conciliation. Also acted for both local and offshore funds and all others under resolution CMN 2689. Ciro holds a BA in Management, with specialization degree in Controlling and Banking from Escola Politécnica - USP.
BA in Law from Centro Universitário Jorge Amado, member of Whitney International University System, currently Rede Ilumno, also specialized in Corporate Law from Universidade Católica do Salvador. Worked at Vetor S/A Investimentos & Participações as leading legal advisor, focused on structured finance in deals with gross volume greater than R$ 500 Mn. Expert in corporate debt, securitization, asset demobilization, real estate partnerships. She is currently Risk Management & Compliance Director at Cultinvest.
With nearly 22 years in Financial Markets, Paulo managed operational teams at BankBoston’s treasury desk and was Superintendent at Banco Itaú Unibanco, responsible for its brokerage, equities bookkeeping and collaterals management. At Itaú, he worked alongside its Structured Products area, local and offshore derivatives desk, equities desk, close-ended funds and Private Equity funds. Graduated in Data Processing and Economics from University of São Paulo, Paulo has also a MBA in Management and Banking Operations from Fundação Vanzolini.
BA in Management, with an MBA in Corporate Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Adilson is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and is also CPA-20 (Anbima) certified. Worked for over 30 years at Banco Itaú Unibanco, 18 of which in Financial Markets, focused on Product Development and Investments Advisory.
With more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, Pablo worked in credit analysis at Citibank and covered several high-growth venture capital and private equity companies at DGF Investimentos. In 2013, he founded Skye Investimentos and managed a long-only, value-oriented equity investment vehicle. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Escola de Administração de Empresas da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (Oxford, UK). He is a certified investment manager by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
